Happy New Year and seasonâs greetings to all VIHANGA readers!
 Dear friends!Â
Literature in any language has no bounds and limits.  It is universal. Telugu is known as the
Italian of the East, many people like Subhrahmanya Bharathi appreciated the sweetness of this
language. Beloved Bapuji himself said that it was difficult for him to learn but Telugu is a very
sweet lingo. Our Telugu people are spread all over the world and there are many Telugu Literary
and Cultural associations all through the world. We belonging to Telugu community have always
had room for other languages literature and we had read almost many of other languages and
honored many national and international languages.Â
VIHANGA as the first ever webzine run only by women is really a cause of pride to us. Many
have applauded for all our sincere efforts in bringing this webzine in time and maintaining
quality. Reading this webzine many felt there is a lot of literary material from other languages
that we have brought into Telugu literature. But there is always a dearth of translation from our
poets to English the common link language of the world. Many readers sent mails to the editor
to please provide a page for women writers and poets to translate literature from Indian
languages/ other languages into English.
And now let me give you the content of VIHANGA â LITERATURE
* Poems/stories translated into  English or in English directly.
* Stories which are translated to English, or in English directly.
* An essay written by writers in Telugu translated to English.
* Literary articles written and translated or directly written in English.
We are happy to present these new developments before you, welcoming you all in our journey
into this New Year!
Readers and writers who are all interested may send your writings directly written in English or
WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR AND LOOKING FOR A
VERY GOOD TIME TOGETHERâ¦
